Description

Focuses on basic concepts of statistics such as measures of central tendency and variability; concepts of test validity, reliability, and objectivity; and on basic techniques used in inferential statistics. Also examine the basic components required for designing, conducting, and interpreting health-related research. Topics discussed include research design, methodologies, observational studies, experimental and quasi-experimental design, inherent biases, ethical considerations, the use of primary and secondary data, and statistical techniques.
